It's just the first thing people focus on and in meme culture that might as well be the whole thing. Absolutely loved it though. Glad you reacted to it, great excuse to watch it again.

2022-10-31 02:05:49 +0000 UTCSo I felt the exact same vibes as you during the fireworks scene. I'm sure we all did. Definitely the perfect time for a kiss. But the thing is they're in a public place with a bunch of people around and PDA is extremely frowned upon in Japanese culture. It's very unusual to see couples get even the slightest bit physical in public. That kind of stuff is almost exclusively done behind closed doors. So unfortunately it's not surprising we didn't get a kiss in that situation. But I think it's pretty safe to get our hopes up for the future (I have not read the manga so that's just my prediction).

It's a pretty fun scene where he realizes she hasn't done any of her homework and thinks about how she is exactly like him. It clearly had to be cut for time but it was nice to see the dynamic of Marin and her father.

2022-03-29 17:17:39 +0000 UTCNext season is packed full of shows I'm watching! It's the first time since I believe 3 years that I watch 4 anime in a season. Komi can't Communicate S2 Kaguya-sama S3 Kingdom S4 and the only new anime will be Spy x Family (I really recommend it as well)

2022-03-29 10:23:37 +0000 UTCLove this show. That was perfect finale. Also S1 has completed 39 chapters of the manga. There 73 chapters currently out. By the time a studio (if not CloverWorks) wants run for a second season it'll be enough content for S2.
