It's just that his lesson was so over-the-top and the audience was obviously horrified, that it would be easy for her to base her reaction to him off of the objectively bigger event. But I suppose by that time she had already formed her first impression, which seemed more significant to her. I was merely talking about the contrast, not making a judgement about whether what Anos did was right or wrong (in the story).

This show is so entertaining for how it executes the tropes and cliches of "magic school op mc" type anime by knocking it up to such a ridiculous level, it's hilarious af. Anos is like One Punch man but he actually flaunts his powers arrogantly and enjoys being powerful.

I saw this before and I like it, but I forgot exactly HOW OP and arrogant this guy was. It's funny how he's teaching a lesson on the importance of family while terrorizing them. And the girl is asked why she likes Anos, and even after the torture session duel, she says it's his kindness.
