You asked a qurstion that leans int why FATE series is argueably my favorite. All FATE titles do revolve around the Holy Grail Warm however it becomes lore wise its apparant that there that servants and even the holy grail itself are not the most important/powerful things in their world. There's so much the kinda hint at in the series that they probably just don't have time to get intoWhat I would like more than anyhing more than anything is a series sequelling Stay night following Rin and Shirou. The biggest snag there being that all 3 series are considered "canon", and again there so much to go into it'll be a hard task to get it truely comprehensible. Newer Patron so I haven seen if you done it but there's a series called El Melloi Case Files that I love and hope you watch at some point thats mostly alone the lines I mentioned. Loved wathing your reactions and can't wait to binge more.

Lmao so in the visual novel, they actually do have sex. Obviously the anime had to change that and go with the PG version, but I agree they could've added a kiss with a fade to black scene. The dolphins look like something else lool

The events of the HF movies are entirely different plot wise from UBW. Saying it's a retelling is weird.

Hope you watch the last 3 eps in one go
i think the movies are a re-telling of the story with new scenes/fights/ending/route
Sad Archer died when he already lost to shirou.....
When they were both naked i was thinking ; did those school scenes happen in ZERO?
Jami: i thought there was going to be a sex scene there
LOL
Also the pillow attacks to shirou were too good
Im hyped for the end, theres more Fate series but not by UFO-Table...

Yeah so as some have mentioned, the scene in which they establish a "connection" is literally them having sex.

Oh no I didn't mean he was anti-sex, that was just not the plan was originally, is what I read in an article, but hey I could be wrong. Though what I read was that it was TYPE-MOON's decision as a studio and not Nasu's decision because ero sold more, so they made it ero. And when it became more popular they did not need it in UBW. But again I may be wrong but the other things make sense.
I could not find the original article that I read, they mentioned about Nasu not really wanting it to be 18+ but didn't mind because of the money. Originally, Fate/Stay Night was supposed to have a female protagonist called Ayaka Sajyou, who summoned regular male King Arthur. This was changed because Nasu was told a male protagonist with a female love interest would sell better.
but I found another interview that kinda backs up about that the 18+ thing were more fanservice and not really needed before HF.
INTERVIEW:(Read it if you want)

--Thank you. Furthermore, I hope you'll allow me to just throw this question out
there. With a story this interesting, is it necessary for it to be an 18+ bishoujo
game.
After all, among the fans of Nasu-san's work "Kara no Kyoukai", for example,
I get the feeling there might be some who wouldn't find this work due to it
being a bishoujo game. Maybe if they knew, they would think "I didn't know a
story like this existed!"... I'm sorry for the long preamble and I'm prepared to
get scolded for this, but I'd love to hear why it was made in that format.
Takeuchi: That's... a very delicate question.
I'm sorry. But it'd be great if you could answer it for me.
Takeuchi: I don't think 18+ elements being fraught with contradictions is limited to
Fate/stay night. In fact, since Fate/stay night originated from a work that lacked those
elements, we of course had the option not to make it 18+. But on the other hand, the
world of an 18+ game has its appeal in a lot of ways beyond just the H-scenes - the kind
of things that can be depicted, fanservice, etc. This work definitely originated from sort
of a place of freedom of expression like that.
The more highly appraised a story is, the more people doubt its rating, and I think
that's quite an honour. I'd like to develop it in many directions with that appraisal in
mind. But I don't have a simple answer to the question of why it's an 18+ game. We
wanted to make an 18+ game with this kind of story.
Because it's 18+, we didn't want to cut down on what could be be depicted and make
something different. Certainly some people do ask "does it really need porn?" But I think
everything about the game - even that - gives it its charm, and we had fun making it, so
it's sad to have it denied, isn't it.
Nasu: Your premise is wrong to begin with. I mean, this is something we built on the
the foundation of being an 18+ bishoujo game from the very beginning
Certainly, if asked if Saber and Rin's routes needed porn scenes, I'd answer "those are
fanservice scenes’, But that absolutely doesn't mean there's no love in them, and since
we decided to create it in this form to begin with, I put my all into them, and that's all
that's needed. To put it another way - these elements included, I can say with pride that
this is a game that can be enjoyed by adults over 18 who understand both bitterness and
sweetness. This is adult amusement, so it's okay for it to have porn!
--I applaud your brave comments. If you'll allow me another question!
Sakura route had even more amusement, or...
Nasu: Yes, its plot was based around having porn.

Nasu was not anti-sex. Takeuchi and Nasu have gone on record saying that the plan was always for the game to be 18+. Bodily fluids (primarily sexual) being the most effective means of mana transfer is a immutable law of Fate. It’s a major detail in HF route, and mage practice in general. Sex is a part of life, and Fate’s world reflects that. It was cut for TV.

Yes, that is true for the original work, but Nasu (Kinoko Nasu) didn't want to write it like that at first but was forced to due to exec meddling(because ero sells). Nasu retconned this in the anime and in the Realta Nua version of the VN to be a non-sexual ritual of some sort to create a Mana pathway between Rin and Shirou so he could use Unlimited Blade Works.
SO this is the way that Nasu actually wanted it. This is also why Kiritsugu Emiya could take his magic circuits (origin) and put them into bullets. Transfer of "magic" does actually not need skin contact BUT in the Nasu verse fluids are still possible conductors like blood, saliva, or semen if you would go so far.
But otherwise good catch for noticing 😁👍 + Nice profile pic of Gilgamesh and Ozymandias if i'm identifying them correct haha🤣.

The reason they undressed isn't actually that deep lol. They get naked because the original FSN is an erotic game and "mana transfer" is achieved through sex. They just didn't want to include a sex scene in the anime so they changed it. Them stripping down is an easter egg.

So the reason why she was so embarrassed in the circuit transfer, is because when transferring the circuits your inner being gets transferred too. In this context, it's Rin's memories of noticing Shirou, (love at first sight... maybe who knows haha) but the main point is that is the deepest parts of yourself, so what is important to you, that is transferred e.g. the moment she got the mantle of a mage from Kirei (the knife belonging to her father). So openly admitting that Shirou was important to her, even before all this happened.
Soooo cute, but for her very embarrassing since you have nothing to hide, therein the symbolism of being naked and showing everything.
