The difference with this show and its pervy/lewdness is that its not just there for fan service it is entirely designed as part of the story and the major character flaw of Rudeus that was caused by his past traumas in his previous life. The reason this show is the best Isekai show out there is the entire point of being an Isekai is to give the main character a new life/starting point at which to become a better person. It shows how people can truely change with enough effort and care from the people around them and that no one is perfect. Everyone has characters flaws and make mistakes and we learn and become better people overtime by overcoming our mistakes and traumas. every aspect of this show/story is made with intention and meant to shine a light on an issue that exists in the current world with how we view other people and how we can grow and become better. This is the reason that it is 100% worth sticking it out for first little bit even if it gets a bit uncomfortable because there is meaning and lesson to be learned behind it all.

I know they wanted to make him crappy at the start so he ca be redeemed... but I think it's a bit too much. Would've stopped early if I wasn't pushed to keep watching and would've missed out on one of the best stories in anime.

I hope you continue watching Mushoku Tensei because it's definitely one of the best Isekai out there and I'm pretty sure you're going to enjoy this show a lot simply because of its amazing story telling and character development. 😊

It's definitely one of my favourite isekais. 😊 But i can also understand why people might be discouraged to keep on watching. I hope You stick with it thought, animation wise Its really great. 😊
