This is just sadly another anime that has art, detail and animation worse than the first season. It's not bad, but... there is a pretty clear drop in quality. Danmachi's first season also has fantastic animation, detail, art, etc. But the 2nd and 3rd season aren't quite as good, though S3 is a pretty big improvement from S2. I think they made the characters a bit more expressive because the lack of detail wouldn't allow them to be more subtle with expressions. So instead they exaggerated the expressions.

I only commented because after 10 years it's finally back and the LN has ended not long ago and the backlash is still huge about the ending.

Not to mention that season 2 getting anywhere close to an ending would be horrible, as it would cut out like 15 volumes of the light novel. So with that in mind you are basically asking them "please just cut the story short and kill it, because people were upset that they didn't get their ship in the LN"
