I said my thoughts of the section of the novels as they pertained to the episodes at the time that I read it. If you want my thoughts solely on the anime, then I’ll tell you the same thing. As they are now, Satan and Emilia cannot be happy if they end up together. Which is what I decided to be most important in my ships, unlike people who decide on what would be coolest or cutest. Call me crazy or someone who can’t distinguish between reality and fiction, but they’re not just characters to me, they’re people. Let’s agree to disagree here, as I get the feeling that discussing this further will go too far into spoiler territory. I’d rather not do that again after the arguments I got into on So I’m a Spider, So What? videos about Kumoko’s goals and methods to achieve them.

Good thing, other readers actually decide to read more than 25% of a story before deciding what would work and what wouldn't lol.

2022-07-30 17:06:25 +0000 UTCIf I’m being honest, back when I was reading the light novels, I was undecided about whether Satan should be with Chi or Emi until this volume. This date pretty much shut down my ship for Satan and Emi. I just don’t think that they’d work out, even if Emi makes peace with the fact that demons are people too. The most common argument I’ve seen for them is that Emi can actually defend herself, unlike Chiho, but they just don’t have the right compatibility. Too much bad blood between them. I can see them eventually being friends, but that’s it.
