To add on to female anasui, araki stated he wanted to do an androgynous character. So kinda like Haku from naruto with anasui. The anime staff actually talked with araki if it was ok to add the female version of him and he said yes. But they didn’t.

In the manga, anasui’s first appearance was indeed that of a Woman with short hair and a very similar outfit as male anasui but in that scene, anasui doesn’t talk at all and you just see him for 1 panel but later on in his 2nd appearance, he’s a man with long hair. Many people before the anime came out believed that female anasui was him using his stand to change his body into a female so he could see jolyne more often in the female prison but since the anime doesn’t have female anasui, that theory was completely erased and confirms that araki just changed his mind and went from female anasui to male anasui literally instantly.
