i didnt know it was 4 eps ive always wanted to go to a boarding school, harry potter style ! I love that cello scene, too charming, reminds me when i use to do my homework at midnight with the classic radio station on <3

As a German I needed to watch the scene where she speaks german 5 times to get what she's saying without the subtitles BUT In the end i was able to understand it. Impressive from Jenna because this was not basic german it was like hard german :-) German is not an easy language. Sorry for bad english :D

2022-12-11 09:24:43 +0000 UTCDon't know if she actually played out the song but Jenna Ortega did learn to play the cello enough to make that scene look right. Unfortunately I was really young when the Addams family was still airing (actually it was probably in syndication at that point too), so I don't recall if they ever really went as far as backstory to the family members. It was just a sitcom about a family of monsters in society. The premise and main cast are the same but as you may have noticed writing for most tv shows in the past 20 years has basically shifted to where a show has to have an overarching story vs being the issue/antics of the episode. So things like backstory, history, and psycology are important details now where before you may hear one odd thing thrown out as just a joke but they'd never really expand on it.
