checked online and they said "No, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is not canon. Based on Mangaka Yuki Tabata's comments, it seems like the movie is set to be an anime original" and "the story within the movie will be part of the anime's lore, however, it will not affect the plot from the manga that it fits into the timeline, but does not cause any changes" its a self contained movie

Ahh so glad your watching BC i think theres 100+ eps , anime on pause cause they were catching up to the Manga. Catch up so you can watch the movie (not canon like one piece) Black Bulls has all the weirdos lol, fav squad. Yami also voices archer, Vego, Sakuna AND MF KING BAROU

Just finished 4-5, and Yami has the same VA as many popular characters such as Grimmjow, Sukuna, and Aizawa to name a few. William does indeed have the same VA as Sinbad as well as Jotaro and Erwin lol. I wasn’t a fan of the anime cause of the animation and some of the voices. Ended up enjoying it way more in the manga. Though watching your reactions will still be fun, hopefully Clover sticks around.

so excited one my favourite anime's best openings hands down. asta is a bit rough at the start but I guarantee he will become one of your favourite mc's and the rivalry between him and yuno is one of the best in anime you're gonna have a great time and each arc gets better than the last.
