I know I'm 4weeks too late, but just wanted to say that the anime did a shit job with Rudy's depression after Paul's death and Roxy's situation, and anime fails at showing us how much time actually passes between events. In LN Rudy was on the edge of falling back into his old self, his depression almost ended him. There was nobody to help him, just Roxy wanted to do something for the person she loves. It was actually Elinalise's suggestion that sex is the best cure for man, and so she did it. Without Roxy it would be the end of Rudy. Also. For me multiple wives, cheating is out of the question, ultimate dealbreaker. That being said, we shouldn't judge the characters by our standards. In their world polygamy is a normal thing. Only followers of Millis are forbidden from taking multiple wives. At the end of the day their happiness is what matters. If they are all happy, then who are we to judge?
