I would recommend watching the filler because most of it is pretty good and some of the filler even gets referenced in the canon episodes. Also, there's no return date for Black Clover so might as well watch the filler.

2024-10-24 17:32:17 +0000 UTCYeah, those recaps aren't worth watching. That being said, Black Clover, like Fairy Tail, does have some good filler / anime canon episodes. Most reactors skip everything except a fan favorite 2-part episode, which I think is a real shame (especially when there's no anime continuation yet, so nothing to rush for). I hope you don't plan on skipping the filler / anime canon, but if you do, please note that a few of the episodes are story relevant. It's kinda like One Piece, where off-screen moments only referenced in the manga actually get fleshed out in the anime. I don't have the specific episode numbers right now, but there are a few more canon episodes before we reach the "Skip or watch?" portion of Black Clover.
