Thanks for the chapter. I agree with the other readers, this is an awesome chapter to reveal his ideal. It was definitely worth the wait. So far I thought, he will get his ideal not until he meets Zach again and they speak about Linda and Melody and their deaths. Now I am glad it turned out differently. The chant for Ryun's ideal consists of nine verses. This matches with the 'combined power level of nine tiers'. I do wonder, if this means that it is a tier 9 perk as well? Nonetheless, I appreciate these small details in a novel and that everything is consistent.

Isnt it about his Reaver skill, which is an active? That he uses to get the essence? And as he didnt use it here, there should be no pilfering, right?

If you mean the stat boosts, the total stats are the exact same which is 2,400 and then 5% extra. Kael just gets 1,200 to two specific stats instead of 400 to all 6 stats.

I am very happy that he got his ideal, and I was getting sort of impatient about it, but they only spent ten minutes at the party?

Something else I thought of. You gain essence from killing. I know he got 100000 from gaining his Ideal. Did he gain some when he gave her a true death. I don't believe he will gain as much as he would when he Reaved using his pilfer class. Still believe he should gain some though.

Yes he can. He just couldn't have an ideal *before* entering the tournament

This was an amazing chapter, well worthy of the ideal reveal. Would be interesting to see the reaper/ True Death Aspect mesh and adjust to Ryun aswell perhaps as a result of his ideal now.

Thanks for the chapter. The red dawn. The BUTCHER OF DAWN. It all ties together so well. Also. His Ideal. His perk seems like it's the same as his fruit technique. The only other one I saw belonged to Kael. His bonuses wasn't as large as Ryun's was. I wonder if Ryun's bonuses are larger because he got his Ideal on his own. He didn't get it from popular belief. Great fucking chapter.
