Agreed, if he gives it away it will feel rushed, I feel like they need time to develop their relationship and stuff and it should be given in a time of peace, not war, as a commitment type thing almost like he's proposing while at the same time showing he's able to move on.

Thanks for the chapter. That Selia receives the second half of the Eternal Hunter perk was predictable. Though, I did not expect it to happen so soon. Only after the three know each other better. I think, it is a bit rushed, afterall for Ryun this is his most valued object and his last bond to Melody. Would be good to have a Ryun POV chapter to understand his reasoning better. I also agree with the comments, that Ryun should have a 'connection' with Erdania as well. Intersting is, Ryun's Primordial Void perk makes him almost immune to Erdania's gravity. It means he can fight alongside her without getting influenced by it. Erdania - close combat, Ryun - mid-range, Selia long-range combat? Zenker and Hastur: My guess is, that Zenker will defeat Hastur but get wounded so badly he dies too. It would be a shock to everybody in the infinite realm that even someone as powerful as Zenker is no match against the leaders of the domes. They would realize how fucked they are. And Zach can save the day with closing the portal.

Everyone commenting about the scythe and while I think that is pretty likely there is another outcome I think is possible. Ryun might be referring to his ability to drain stats doing so would 100% kill him at least bodily but even a temp debuff of 25% plus a few juiced seconds of Ryun going on a killing spree before he pops like a balloon if timed properly really could make an impact the price would be them protecting his sect until his return from the void

Interesting thought. I agree with you. But I think that those of us who are here are too impatient to wait out the empty period after it's released.

i feel like these chapters would probly be better released as a group even if that meant time off afterwards. not because of cliffs although they exist but because its hard to keep the level of hype and the feeling of a intense and hectic battle that the chapter is meant to give off when its broken up over a week or two. the chapters would probly give off a much more epic feel read as a group. but i guess thats the way of these kinds of releases. anyway loveing the work and thanks for the chapter just giving my 2cents for when you maybe put these out on rr or something.

My guess is they are interludes because they are not of a pov from one of the main characters. If we focused on Ryun or Zach completely for one of these last few chapters, it would be a regular one.

Really hope Zenker has a way to survive the explosion if he can get it to work. He’s definitely one of my favorite characters. It’s gonna suck if he just evolved all his skills to suicide bomb this portal.

Thanks for the chapter. I dont see Ryun giving her the spear would be enough. It has to be the twin perk. Damn Haster is crazy strong. Zenkar went at him with a tier9 skill and Haster just slapped his ass away. Zenkar may be able to shut down that portal and kill a lot of the monster horde. But that wont take out Haster. Zenkar himself said it. He is fucked.

Other half for Selia as they have a deeper connection in an intellectual level, and the spear to Erdania as they have a stronger physical connection?

in my head, i really wanted him to give selia the spear, and erdania the other half, that way its really like a true bond with both of them, that he is invested in the "partnership" with both of them. somehow i feel like he ends up giving selia both though.

He might not give the second half , but he might give her the spear. In my mind giving her the spear would be easier for him then the other half because of how I timent the connection is with the person. Remember it was described that they shared everything with eachother, so as someone who for lack of better words has already lost that part of himself once before I doubt he would ever want to go through that again.

What a cliff! My bet is that he pulls out Melody’s aspect of true-death. I was actually surprised that Ryun has not already activated his reaper’s aura. I really really hope we get to see him go HAM next chapter
