I think it is good, that Tali points out the danger of betrayal and ambush, or how Ryun, Selia and Erdania discuss what they expect from a relationship and decide to start it slowly. What bother me a bit is the pacing. These two chapters had a quite a few long anticipated revelations, which I think should have been fleshed out more. For example, Tali talking about her past. Or Selia seemed to love her grandfather, but barely reacts or hesitates, even though she just learned, who really is responsible for his death (and thus the fall of her sect) and that she needs to help the third iteration now. On the other hand, you have chapters like 247, where Zach spent a whole chapter planning how to kill a dragon (which was dead only a few chapter later). To make it clear, chapter 247 was good, I just think what happened in chapter 253 and 254 has earned a bit more attention as well. Looking forward to more of Ryun, Selia and Erdania. But also to some interaction with the other characters. Maleatus is quite entertaining, who brings some levity into the story. Vryull will maybe teach Ryun something about void or they can trade void essence, which would Ryun allow to advance to Evolved sooner.
