2025-09-25 20:47:06 +0000 UTCI think the whole animal thing is just trying to emphasize how life goes on long after humanity. They can reproduce with ease and humanity can't. Also people treat their pets like children so it makes sense. They can't have children so a pet is the next best thing. It's probably more deep than that but I'm an idiot.
