Could human brilliance ever overcome the limits of its own body? How can mankind surpass something that, even for science—no matter how advanced—is deemed impossible? Well, for Ashiro, that was possible. Even if it cost him nearly an entire lifetime. Even if it almost cost him his very nature.

Diagnosed with a rare condition that prevented him from naturally developing muscle mass, Ashiro never entertained the idea that he had to accept a life without physical evolution. Myostatin, the protein responsible for inhibiting uncontrolled muscle growth, might be beneficial within normal limits. But that wasn’t the case for Ashiro—his body produced it in excess, preventing him from growing or developing physically. No gym, no diet, no intense training, and no medicine could end his condition. A chronic 'disease.' A burden he was meant to carry to the end of his life.

Or perhaps not—because his brilliant mind and unyielding personality would never allow him to accept a fate dictated by his own body. After more than ten years of research, studies, and countless attempts (many of them failures), Ashiro, on a full moon night, seemed to have finally found the key to unlock his own prison.

But... what happens when the outcome turns out to be 'better' than expected? When what was supposed to be a controlled myostatin inhibitor becomes an almost permanent nullifier? After testing his own formula, a massive wave of muscular growth began overtaking the once small and fragile body of the young man, transforming him into a large, strong, virile, and fearless man. The pain caused by the sudden change soon turned into relief and pleasure. He had conquered his own impossible. He had shattered the limits not only of human science—but of his very body.
