Yeah when the producers were trying to find a partner for Sungjae and they saw Joy’s profile/audition tape. They instantly knew right away that she’s a good match for Sungjae. They work so well and this was Joy’s first reality/variety show by herself while Sungjae has done A LOT of variety/reality shows already. BTOB, as well as Sungjae has been amazingly funny and shows all their charms on variety show/reality shows. So pairing Joy with Sungjae who young like her, helps her ease her nervousness with his humor, and someone who is playful but also attentive is a JACKPOT for her. Honestly, after watching this show for the 6472627827272th time. I’m super grateful for Sungjae as well as BTOB for just creating such a comfortable and accommodating atmosphere and environment for Joy and Red Velvet (Yes there will be more BTOB x Red Velvet interactions in future episodes). BTOB is one of the very few male idol groups that Red Velvet even Irene is the most comfortable with and easily interacts with them even in music shows and or year end events and even music festivals. Like I said, BTOB are very friendly and open to all idols and make everybody laugh and feel comfortable. So I’m thankful that these producers matched Sungjae and Joy cuz even after WGM..both groups still support and interact with each other. As BTOB’s eldest and leader said, BTOB and Red Velvet = FAMILYSHIP. ❤️
