Hodong (the cute one) wasnt an idol, he is a formal (ssierum) wrestler. His legs are incredibly muscular. After the sport career, he become a tv host, he is one of the most loved celebrities in the country, everyone knows him. The tall one was a basketball player, Heechul and Kyunghoon are singers, Sangmin was a kpop producer, Soogeun and Youngchul are comedians.

it would have been better to watch thier first appearance first on the show because you would be so confused and would not get it what they are talking about like for example the choosing seats they choose to seat with, contexts they had with them in the pass, and their jokes. but its okay, thanks for watching

Knowing Brothers have a lot of running jokes that you won't know about if you haven't been following them. Girl from Masan is one of those. The tall guy (basketball star) is often teased about being divorced and being wealthy, one of the guys (a big Kpop star back in the day) was a chronic gambler and lost everything so he gets teased about that. They have something on each one of them. Korean humor can be pretty harsh at times. When idols get to be too old to be idols they end up on variety shows like this. That's why Heechul is there, since he can't dance much anymore because of old injuries to his legs.

I'm glad you're watching their knowing brother episodes! Like you said, they seem to really enjoy themselves comfortably there, which is why it's one of my favorites. For background, prior to the show, heechul, kyunghoon, and sangmin were singers/idols, hodong was a ssireum wrestler, Janghoon was a basketball player, and soogeun and youngcheol are comedians. Also, a lot of their inside jokes are about janghoon being rich and divorced(his ex-wife's name is jeongyeon lol), and sangmin being bankrupt (and also divorced). Fyi, BTS and red velvet, and lots of other idols have also been on the show a couple times :)

this was so fun.. can't wait for the 2nd part!! Twice are so entertaining on k-shows they're the only group I try to watch all their appearances
