Honestly, the reality is that it's seldom the most talented in a group that are the most popular. Charm is a merit in and of itself in the idol world. Sunoo is the guy who grabbed me from Day 1. Because he's got a lot of charisma. J-Hope saw it too (and when he was on Under 19, the kid he named as the "best" went on to win the show--so he's got an eye). There are a few idols out there who are the most objectively talented and the most popular--but they're rare. If an idol's charm was irrelevant we wouldn't spend hundred of hours of our lives watching their v-lives and reality shows. So it's entirely fair to take the fan's perspective into account. Sunoo and Daniel inspired people to vote for them and root for them. When they debut, their team will be grateful for that contribution. That being said, Sunoo and Daniel have been training for such a short time and talent-wise, they're already stand-outs too. They're among the best vocalists on the show along with Geonu and Heesung. I'll admit that I tend to be drawn to the underdogs. People like Heesung and Kay--they're totally fine and have their merits and deserve to debut and you can tell they work hard--but I root for people with positive attitudes and grit and humility. Jay, Sunoo, and Daniel--I want good things for them so I'll go the extra mile to vote for them. Nothing proves the value of an underdog story better than BTS' meteoric rise.

Cherry Blossom. I don’t think so if that’s the case Heeseung and Jungwon are the ALL ROUNDERS. They would do that to them not to Sunoo. He is only good at singing, dance he is ok but there’s many at the same level as him. You are just biased towards Sunoo. I know they have a bright future but to debut later in another group. And normally people supports the underdogs more. This is my opinion so yeah. And please vote for the Talented ones that are good in anything. There are 5 that can be ALL ROUNDERS. This is going to be a group of 7 not just 1 but 7.

The Ilanders don't like Sunoo, because they don't even know him well, they themselves have always treated him coldly...They just probably see him as a strong rival. I don't think they're not ready to debut. Many idols debuted at a young age with little skill, but are so successful now. As for Sunoo and Daniel,they are already showing good results, but also you should consider how young they are, and their skills will only grow over time. And at this moment Sunoo and Daniel have such a special aura, people see it,which I am very happy about.

I feel very good about the ones who made it to part two as well. I don't have a top 7 yet, It's going to be difficult and we can vote only for two a day. I'm worried about Hanbin, I thought he wouldn't make it and I screamed when he did. He needs to have more confidence and stand out more fast cause I don't want him to be eliminated. A lot of people where mad at sunoo and k in this episode and I really don’t get it. Everyone know about Mnet evil editing but even with that it was really not a big deal and they don’t have to be perfect all the time, no one is. Anyway that was a mini rant. Also, I hope we have more interaction with BTS in the future. I would pass out if they ever even say my name.

AYA You are right they don’t welcome him the same as others. I think Sunoo has to work in his personality. And for those saying Mnet evil editing I understand that part. But you can’t cover the sun with 1 finger. Most of the trainees don’t seem to like Sunoo, you can see it in their faces and how they interact with others compared to him. Also I voted more for Grounders because I know my top 5 were safe because of their talents. So this episode was so eye opening for me, let’s be hones and put aside our bias. But Sunoo & Daniel are not more talented than the 5 original ILanders. But they can improve so much, but honestly I think they are not ready to debut in this group. People vote for the Talented ones. At the end of the day is going to be a group of 7 not only 1.

btw Im glad that my faves are in I-Land and all of 12 trainees actually really deserve to debut tho. I can't imagine to choose only 7 of them. I thought 9 would be a great to debut the new group because all original 6 i-lander from part 1 fill in the group really well but suddenly there are only 7 of them gonna debut and that mess up with my picks. But no matter what, Im gonna supporting them because all of them deserve to debut. They have shown great potential and skill so far so I dont think im gonna be picky in choosing which one deserve to debut. ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT!! Maybe if the trainees that eliminated from I-LAND this time, they still have chance to debut since bighit gonna debut their second boygroup in 2022. So pretty much im expecting this faces that will debuted

aaron, one thing that you should know that everyone who watched the I-Land are aware of mnet's evil editing where sometimes they edit the scene to make someone looks bad so don't believe too much of it. They can make someone disappear from the frame when in fact he was there in the I-Land CAMS. So pretty much, the fans always called mnet as a snake hehe. So in part 2, we all come to agreement to not believe blindly what mnet have shown. Like in the episode where Sunghoon was asking Sunoo questions. There are fans who compare the mnet footage and the I-LAND Cams and they see that there are something strange abt the scene. I don't know how to explain it but it seen that Sunoo was ignoring Sunghoon's questions but actually there are time differences there and seems like mnet edit all Sunghoon's questions but make it like Sunoo ignored him but the truth it is not what happen in the I-LAND.

My number one was Nicholas and I LITERALLY cried when he got eliminated I saw it coming from a Mile away but I'm still so sad. I am SO HAPPY that Hanbin finally gets a chance to showcase his skills I personally will be voting for Hanbin and Jake for every voting round so yeah

I too didn't vote for K, Sunghoon, Jungwon and Heesung first week cuz I was sure they wouldn't be eliminated by ilanders or producers

yes it's true. Mnet's evil editing isn't just in this program. they've been using those tricks for views & more dramatic scenes in many other shows very often. they've been criticized for that but they don't stop doing it. you'd better not trust them.

aaron the part where sunoo didn't answer sunghoon is anther evil editing of mnet. Fans have found that the cut where sunoo didn't answer sunghoon is edited from a earlier part when sunghoon haven't even asked a question yet. so the 'real answer' sunoo gave is not included. seems like sunoo (and k) is mnet's new target like niki was before. hope u don't read into such highlighted and dramatic scenes too much cuz it's purposefully there to start drama

i hate to say it too but you can kinda see that the others aren’t as excited to welcome sunoo compared to the others. but mnet editing is very much biased, he has a lot of screen time from the start which kind of makes viewers prefer him and dislike others. i think his vocal skills are great, but there must have been a reason why he kept getting voted off iland even tho he had a high score. i was rooting for him to make it to round 2 because i hope he will grow in skill and personality.

picking 5 at this point is so difficult, i don’t have a top 7 but i want jay, k, and jungwon for sure. honestly i felt that the global vote for the 12 are unfair because me and a lot of others were voting for the people in ground more than the ones who are in iland in that week. i love jay and k but i knew the producers and ilanders wouldn’t vote them off so i didn’t use my vote for them, and instead used it on the ones who are in ground. so i guess the next round will be more fair? also the lady that you didn’t recognize is bae joonyung and she’s a famous choreographer and a trainer in Produce series. she’s very strict and blunt, and all trainees are terrified of her lol but she’s a very good teacher. i’m so excited for the next episode of iland!

I really want Heeseung, Jay, Jungwon, K, And Sunghoon to debut. These 5 trainees are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 just imagine they can become a powerful groupThey can Dance, Sing and have great personality. The other 2 are can be Geonu, Sunoo, Daniel or Jake. I think Niki, Taki and Hanbin are not ready to debut they need more practice. Other thing I noticed is that Sunoo is very selfish and doesn’t get along with the others trainees.
