The book is a spellbook the ghosthunter is using to catch the girls who are ghosts or spirits which represent different nightmares. You see Gahyeon falling because she is the nightmare of falling. You see Sua being restrained because she is the spirit of that particular nightmare where you can't move. The girls distract the hunter (eyes on the wall) while Dami steals the book. They turn the tables on the hunter and trap him in the mirror dimension where they've been hiding. They are now freed into the world and walk off into the dark forest. You will see a lot of mirror imagery in their videos.
