2020-08-26 22:44:49 +0000 UTCI love this song, I could honestly write an essay on the lyrics, but the short version is that it's about being at a confusing age when you're an adult with responsabilities, but you still don't feel like one and both wanting to become even more independent and go back to the simple life you had as a child at the same time. But it's also about doing all of that in the spotlight, where she becomes even more confused because the image she presents to the world and her own personality may be different, but she's been doing it for so long she can't really say for sure which is the /real/ her. And she can't really trust people around her since they could be using her status. And it's also about how the public viewed her as this innocent, nation's little sister girl, but when it was revealed she was dating a man 11 years older than her they turned around saying she's a "sly fox". So the child or moist woman thing is basically: does she want to grow up or does she want to stay a child? but also which image will the public pick for her, the pure one or the cunning one? whatever it is, it doesn't matter, since she's used to being seen through lenses either way.
