It's a giant puzzle. It was written by the Hong sisters who are famous in Korea for crafting very intricate heart rending dramas. A Korean Odyssey was the drama they wrote before Hotel del Luna and it has the same type of intricate plot with a mixture of comedy, horror and heartbreak coupled with fascinating quirky characters.
