It has a lot of the same themes. The male lead is a General from the Goryeo period cursed to live on as a Goblin (a kind of unpredictable guardian spirit in Korean myth) and the female lead is a girl from the present day who thinks she may be the 'goblin's bride', his only hope of being released from his century's long lonely existence. It had very high ratings and won a ton of awards for the show and the cast.
