I started to watch this drama bcuz I saw it's on your reaction list, lee hyun(Chung Myung's actor) is such a great actor, even tho he wasn't the main lead, he had such a big impact on the storyline, with his very little screen time he killed it, In my opinion his character can easily be overshadowed, easily can misunderstood & hated by the audience if he lacks even a little bit in the performance but he did extremely great job with it, that it really stole the show. After getting to know their past storyline i watched each ep just to see them together then I stared to skip alot of part just to see manwol & chung myung togeter, their chemistry was so good.

2024-02-03 04:35:41 +0000 UTCugh i cried my eyes out watching this. chungmyung was the male lead in my eyes and deserved SO MUCH BETTER. he and manwol are so epic together which made manchan (the main couple) look really bland in comparison because they don't have the same intense chemistry and chansung is really underdeveloped as a character with no backstory (even tho i love yeo jin-goo as an actor). i really need iu and lee do-hyun to play the LEADS together in another drama bc if they were already a popular ship here, just imagine if they get to showcase more of their chemistry as the main couple.

2021-10-09 00:03:08 +0000 UTCOmg I hope he reacts to 18 AGAIN!! 18 Again is such an amazing kdrama. Lee Do Hyunβs (Cheong Myung) acting there was superb. I cried a lot from that kdrama. There are a lot of life lessons, realization, and reflection you will definitely encounter from the different scenes and episodes that will definitely make you cry. I would say Itβs actually one of the best kdrama out there. I got hooked so much that I didnβt know how to let go when I was watching the last episode. Definitely a must watch kdrama of 2020 π₯Ίπ―β¨

Imagine what Hotel Del Luna could have been if the story focused on his ill fated past love with Manwol and decided to make them try again again on the future/modern setting. Imagine waiting for 1300 years, and not even a single hug was given. I would have picked him easily after seeing the real truth about what happened if I was Manwol. This type of too much hate is only possible if you have also loved the person too much. He clearly stoled the show both the character and the actor. If you wan't to watch a recent popular drama with him you can watch 18 AGAIN (2020). He was also magnificent there and his role here in Hotel Del Luna definitely got him that main lead role in 18 AGAIN since he became such a fan favorite. I'm a big fan of the main male lead but Lee Do Hyun (the actor who played the captain) really stoled all my attention and heart. I found myself getting bored to other scenes when it's not him and IU now lmao

The Koreans seem to know things about life and what's really important that Westerners seem to have forgotten. Maybe it's the tragic and brutal history of their country that still goes on today. Family, friends, love, the personal connections that bind people together. You will find those things in the best dramas. Don't worry there are many more like this one.
