I'm german and Swiss German is so different from normal German that germans often have a difficult time understanding it. I'm guessing grüezi stands for 'grüsse sie' which translates to 'greetings' In Bavaria (but only on the countryside) we say 'grüß Gott' which literally translates to 'greetings to god' In normal 'high' German without any dialect it's 'guten tag' but that's really formal, so people mostly say 'hallo'
