2018-12-28 00:30:22 +0000 UTCThe manga goes a bit more into the back story, Kanzaki’s mom works in tech or finances and wanted a child so she got a test tube baby. Also yeah she pays the get her a good education but is emotionally distant, so the teachers reveal was pretty much the ultimate betrayal. Also while the anime misses a lot of good later chapters from the manga it still shows that even after Onizuka showing her that she can trust in teachers she’s fucking ruthless when she thinks people she likes are threatened. The show is kinda like Berserk 97’ in that it’s a good introduction but the manga is where it’s at.
