A lot of Monster does consist of convenient coincidences. That Roberto and Eva both would be recommended to doctor Reichwein, in a similar way, and Eva right when Tenma was caught is kind of... Hmmm. But it's all still within the realm of possibility, and because Monster has an underlying theme of fate (kind of) I tend to excuse it.
Also, upon looking up how to spell Reichwein's name, I wonder if he was somewhat based on this real person? <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Reichwein" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Reichwein</a>
