Yeah, I absolutely love this series to death, but the average person SHOULD have problem with the child groping stuff. I get that Nisioisin turns it into a running gag, but there isn't really a joke. It just comes across as weird and gross. Nisioisin has some great ideas, gags, and use of satire, but this is definitely not one of them lmao.

Chuan-Jer Pan, that's the main problem with current-year western internet culture. Some people just look for an excuse to be "righteously" outraged and start screeching over the internet how this or that is "problematic", promotes X and must be stopped by any means necessary, even if there were no sign of X in the original statement or piece of work, unless you rea-a-a-aly stretch it or disregard any and all context whatsoever. Other susceptible people see this "outrage" and take it for face value, without really looking into it and thinking about it for themselves, because... well... it's much easier that way and nobody can be THAT angry about something for no reason, right? Sigh... Just look at what happened with Goblin Slayer and Shieldhero. I'm more than confident, that there's a fair number of people, who didn't watch the shows and who are convinced those are reprehensible pieces of art, promoting and excusing worst things possible. I won't be even mad about such sad state of affairs, but now even the Japanese companies have started to include self-censorship for western releases, simply because they don't want to be bothered with all the buzz over nothing from "baka-gaijins", like in the latest season of SAO. I guess pretty soon I'll have to go back to fansubs over the original raws to get the full experience. Sigh once more, I was starting to get used to simulcasts by now...
