It's funny that the things that you are guessing Ippo would eat at the bakery, you usually wouldn't find at a bakery in Japan. You might find some light sweet things, but most of it is plainer or savory fare. To find really sweet dessert items such as things with frosting, you go to patisseries or pastry shops.
