The show may be trash, but, you can get some fun out of watching a dumpster fire. And a wise man once said, "Without the rainy days, what joy is there in the sunshine?" Analyzing a good show for what it does right is only half the spectrum. You also have to look at what bad shows do wrong to get a full view of a medium. There is also value in the conversation of "How could this been done better?" Paraphrasing a comment on YouTube gamers, a good player can make watching a bad game fun. Similarly here, good personalities can make anything an enjoyable watch. I have watched SoS watch shows I didn't enjoy, and I enjoyed watching it with their commentary (and actually watched the show all the way through) more than I ever did trying to watch it on my own.
