2019-05-16 09:16:24 +0000 UTCThey don't outright say that in the anime AFAIK, but I think that is a good assumption. I've always wondered if the inclusions are some kind of nanite technology. We could be watching a post-transhumanist world unfold. I get the feeling something really bad happened though, to create the inclusions, whatever they may be.

2019-05-14 21:38:03 +0000 UTCI don't think that you understand tbe concept of the inclusions... the microorganism can't have inclusions because they are those inclusions. Actually we have a thing very similar to the gems in the real world, it's called coral.
