2019-06-02 15:40:27 +0000 UTCJust a little about Japanese pricing. Shinkansen tickets are EXPENSIVE. It's honestly cheaper to fly than it is to take the bullet train most of the time. Souvenirs are in comparison, relatively cheap, especially in comparison to how the US jacks up the prices on our usual souvenirs. So, it is very possible for him to have money for a souvenirs, but not for the ticket home. Osaka and Tokyo are close together, but not that close, you have to drive, take a train, or a plane to get between the two (also, the two are HUGE cities). So, no, Sendo could not have believably run between the two cities.
