Being a "stylistic" choice doesn't excuse it from being ugly, you can call poop art as much as you like in the end of the day it's still poop. It went downhill from the moment it decided to diverge into a more episodic pattern instead of a linear one, literally half of the episodes that came out after episode 6 are unnecessary, the whole story, the main plot, could have been told in 13-14 episodes. Having this be a 24 episodes was a huge mistake, the way the narrative completely shifted to this ridiculously unnecessary episodic formula only proves that.

If I recall correctly, that ugly episode was directed by the same guy that did Gurren Lagann episode 4, so definitely a stylistic choice, although not the most enjoyable to watch.

I am very surprised that Dororo is beating Bunny Girl but I'm cool with either show winning. Would also be cool with Gridman but that isn't happening (maybe in the future, it's a great Trigger show.)

Sad but not surprised Banana Fish is ranked so low. ;; I hope the bros will get to watch it anyway, some day. Be it in their own time or reactions. It's not a perfect show by any means, but I literally don't know anyone who's watched it and haven't absolutely loved it hahh.

It's a shame that so many haven't seen Banana Fish simply because of it's gay undertones. And most likely for that petty reason it won't come anywhere near winning this poll. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's a petty reason either, since the gay aspects in the series are of such little importance compared to the ACTUAL story which is amazing.

Banana Fish has yaoi undertones but isn't actually yaoi. It's also one of the most emotionally intense dramas I've ever seen and is criminally overlooked compared to its quality.

SSSS.Gridman is EASILY the best show on the poll and I'm sure most people who've watched it would agree. Since 2/5 are actually good shows I'm not too disappointed with this poll.

Bunny Girl Senpai has good dialogues and has quite enjoyable comedy. I heard from many it has a similar dialogue style like the monogatari series but I havent watched monogatari so I cant tell Dororo's story is very unique by todays standards and its good Bloom into you is a yuri (lesbian love) so I watched it and it was okay. Nothing exceptional Banana fish is a yaoi (gay love) so I didnt watch it. Has some mafia action though as far as I know I dont know about asobi asobase, skipped it in the season but here I heard it was an exceptional comedy. I thought about watching it some time later SSSS Gridman is a mecha. I avoid that genre by default but i heard good things about it My votes go to bunny girl senpai and dororo if that helps you

Love Bunny Girl Senpai but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being a Tuesday show eventually. SSSS Gridman also wasn't as popular as it deserved to be, a really enjoyable show that managed to draw me in in spite of me not usually watching shows like that.
