I am so happy with the ending because Johan is now 'free' from the monster killing inside himself, I'm sure Johan suffered a lot too and he has expressed that in his own way, I thought throughout the final arc, he looks creepy but looks really sad all the time. now he can have a normal life. And of course happy with Tenma successfully eliminated the monster he revived. i think it is the best ending for Monster. fits perfectly

The angles in the flashback, the camera shakes, the music, the dialogue and voice acting, all coming together to make this moment feel as tense and significant as possible. This key moment, this one second that haunted and affected Johan ever since, whether he remembered it consciously or not. God it's so good.
