2019-07-01 09:30:47 +0000 UTCThey're both very smart people, so I can see why they'd over analyze, especially when they've watched quite a bit of anime, so they assume that every stereotype of a character or archetype will behave the same way/or in a similar manner as others that they've seen, when that's not always true. But yeah, it's always satisfying when they are proven wrong about something they were so sure about, don't get me wrong, I love the Bros, I love their reactions, they seem like fun people, and I'd love to hang out with them in real life, if I could, but yeah; sometimes they over think on things a little too much.

Seeing them go all "we know how stories are written" on a plot point... and then to have it go completely sideways on them is strangely satisfying. Personally in this case, I'm waiting to binge PM, so I'm sure I'll get all chuffed over this too in a month or so. :)

Not everyone is playing 4D chess, sometimes what they say and what they say is actually what they mean. But oh boy, can't wait for episode 8 reaction either way! Even if I dislike how you over analyze at times, sometimes that makes it even better when you're proven wrong about something.
