I somehow missed this poll, but just wanted to add that I'm personally so so so happy they'll finally be experiencing rakugo!! ♥ This series has made me cry more than any other, still does with every rewatch. Oh man.

I... ... ... ... ...I actually cannot believe what I'm seeing. Like... I've been voting for Rakugo ever since it was first included in one of these polls. Which was... *I went back to one of my own comments from November of 2018 to check* "on a 4k milestone poll created on October 23, 2017" So... It's actually kind of surreal to see it win after two years of other series coming in first. Wow. P.S. Even though I haven't watched the series myself, and even though one of the Bros has already seen it, I now feel obligated to vote for Anohana for any future poll it appears in. Anohana fans have waited long enough.

Since Rakugo won please mods if possible let them know to at least watch the blu-ray version of the first episode since what was 48 mins in tv is 82 mins on blu-ray thus adding a tons of content they couldn't fit in tv version due to the time slot. There are good subs out for the blu-ray version for both seasons just different groups sadly.

It's already been shown that Jacob doesn't remember EVERYTHING and it's still a good time. Look at the first season of March Comes In Like a Lion or Berserk. But i guess AnoHana is pretty unforgettable, to me anyway. That also doesn't stop it from being a good discussion if one has seen it. Let me get cynical for a sec...but it just shows to me that a majority of people don't seem to be here for that and don't care about much of what they say, which is sad.

So... I've been a patreon for like, a year and a half... then due to financial difficulties stopped donating for about 7-8 months... Really hoping that Rakugo gets its day in the sun. Both the art of rakugo storytelling and the story surrounding the characters are pretty fascinating to me. It also has a similar, if more melancholic overall, feel to it that March Comes in Like a Lion has or that's how I feel anyway (although the MC is a more energetic dude). Does anyone else sort of feel that way? Not that it doesn't also give you room to breathe. It doesn't have the same sort of comedy, but there are moments of genuine happiness for the characters, in case anyone is wondering.
