The problem with Takamura's weight is that there's not a lot of people in heavyweight in japan, nor in the neibhouring countries, so he'd have to search opponents in europe or america. To do that, he needs recognition, and that's won through world titles

But simply put he does not have enough opponents in Japan to make fighting in heavy weight viable. Even Middleweight is pushing it. As Takamura's already been stated as having problems finding fights.

2019-11-03 19:01:36 +0000 UTCCan someone pass this on to them. A heavyweight is 200+ pounds this is Takamura's natural weight class. To fight in Middleweight he has to lose at least 40 pounds to get down to that class.
