Even knowing what's gonna happen already, I love the way you guys seem to know what you're talking about. Watching all the Shonen classics and how they do fights like with Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. it's great that you're already aware of all the standards in this genre. It also helps when they do it differently in MHA to really stand out from the rest. Good stuff.

As far as we know his only weakness is light and the only people who know that at this point are Kouda (Rock head dude who hasn't said a single word yet) Izuku, Mei, and Uraraka. So it's still kinda a hard match to win at that point but if she knew and had time she absolutely could have won. Also I like what you said about the main character upgrade thing which is something the series does pretty well later on with it's characters and one of the reasons I like it. Being able to balance out a big cast is hard but it does a pretty good job at it as it goes on and giving characters cool moments even some joke characters

2017-08-11 20:35:45 +0000 UTCI really think you guys need to stop thinking about the plot of My Hero in terms of "typical shounen". Yes it is a shounen, but My Hero has its own unique take that goes against many of the common plot lines that make typical shounens so predictable. I'd say just keep an open mind because there is a very good chance these next few episodes will break you of the mindset. Stay tuned.....
