I wouldn't say very long.. there are not that long compared to other long running shounens imo. (freaking bleach, one piece etc having fights lasting 10-30 episodes)

2017-09-13 17:44:45 +0000 UTCOne thing might worth noting is that "phantom troupe" isn't a perfect translation. I don't know but maybe something like "brigade" is better than "troupe" because, as far as I know, there is nothing like entertainers/circus-like stuff implied by the original name.

2017-09-13 10:24:34 +0000 UTCThe Hunter exam is phenomenal, but eps 9-11 are just really bad and way too dragged out. They don't set the tone for the arc so it's very easy to look over when 12-20 is so great.

2017-09-13 04:06:16 +0000 UTCi hate how everyone shits on the hunter exam arc and says its so bad... like sure maybe its not as good as the later episodes, but its still better than a lot of other anime. if they're as bad as everyone says they are then why did you watch 20 something episodes in the first place, obviously it was good enough to keep you interested and hold your attention. i enjoy the exam arc don't let others opinions get you down. :)
