Just a suggestion that i'm sure you've seen before but I highly recommend uploading the reaction to google drive and linking it here. You could upload full uncut reaction no problem and it would require less editing, I'd say that's a win win.

Awesome! I am surprised but impressed by Gon's initiative and how he handled the situation with Ponzo. Brilliant and a hundred times better than what I figured would happen, which would've been finding some loophole in the rules and they all win. Gon's personality is fascinating and I agree, the fact they don't show us everything Gon feels until its overwhelming makes those moments so much more impactful. And I am just as lost on this 'bracket' as you two! Gah, this show is amazingly executed and the discussions - so glad you guys started this show! :D

Yes! I'm so glad that you caught a glimpse of Gon's personality that unlike most of hero/shounen protagonist out there. The way where he sneakily took the tag of that girl... Very clever move that he lured her to use the poison by snatching the tag out of the snake guy. Gon is a loyal friend, that's for sure. But he's definitely not the saint protagonist type. And that's very exciting

I'm not sure if this is possible for you, but you can try to make your reaction translucent so that us viewers can still read the subtitles. Translucent to the point Youtube won't detect the video, but we can still see what's going on.

I am not a fan of riff.tv because of crunchyroll and it's bs region restrictions. Well, I guess time to test around with vpn/proxy or watch reaction without video.

just use the chrome browser and both extensions - mirror tube and pitch shifter. it took literally 2min and you can mirror and pitch shift every video on the go :)

That's a good idea, but we'll be simply doing the timer option through riff since we're still getting claims on these videos.

Dunno if this is possible, but you could record your video and the anime on separate audio tracks (OBS does support this) and then just pitch shift the anime audio, then mix them together in Audacity, or whatever you are using to do the edits in. Also, make sure your pitch shift settings is set to high quality, because I can hear some crackle that is caused by pitch shifting set on a lower quality setting.

I think Hisoka and Killua had different reasons for their reactions to Netero. Killua was being egotistical and overestimates himself and assumes his experiences (assassin family) makes him special and stronger than Netero. Hisoka on the other hand gave the vibe of wanting to fight netero because he knows netero is really really stong and wants to fight him because he likes a challenge(the fact he wants Gon to grow before he kills him tells us that he likes the thrill of fighting a strong opponent a lot).

I dont mind the pitch change as much as i thought i would but it's still not a good solution. I personally think the best solution at this point would be to do the full reaction + timer thing. There would be no danger of copyright claims and it would really lessen the workload since the video needs way less editing. Well that are my 2 cents on the issue but i dont think there is a solution in which you can have footage in the video and still have it be pleasant to watch.
