Just to let you guys know, deuce is when both teams are tied at 24 points. At that stage of the game, it isn't about which team makes it to 25 first but instead about which team gets 2 points ahead of the other team first that wins the set. There are tons of volleyball games in real life where the set is stuck at deuce for several rallies and the points start creeping into the 30's or even 40's. And yes, it does get hella intense.
Haha, all I can really say without spoiling anything is that Haikyuu can have games lasting 5-10 episodes and still be really good.

Yeah, Haikyu's actually sparked a large increase in Japanese highschool volleyball. https://imgur.com/a/YSUhS
Pretty interesting stuff.

To get a set, you have to have at least 25 points and be at least two points above the other team. When the teams are tied and are both at 24 or higher, it's a deuce, meaning one team has to win two points in a row to win the set.

actually is when one of the teams has to have more tan 25 point to win, because there has to be a difference of two points

I know what you are talking about Jacob (or is it Jakob?) Typically the 'mains' are much more striking and have extra detail and flourish to and around them and they're overly powerful and trounce the less detailed styled characters. Indeed, if you watch Kuroko no Basuke, this will be the case. Its an amazing show so don't be deterred! Haikyuu does a wonderful job of balancing skill amongst various types of characters! Great reaction you two! :D

Haikyuu characters are so amazingly written, you'll see it many times in the future. What especially baffles me with every single team is how well fleshed out the "antagonists" are.
And yes, god, growing to love volleyball cause of Haikyuu is SO relatable. I used to hate it because I couldn't play well at school, and my PE teacher was aware of that. I bet he was quite surprised when me and my friend suddenly started coming to the gym during breaks and asking for a volleyball to play with; and at some point, in order to avoid situations where he wasn't in the mood to give us the ball, I started bringing my own one along with my books :"D
And I know maany people who grew to love volleyball/even started playing volleyball/at least grew to love sports thanks to Haikyuu, so it really is incredible this way.
You posted it with such good timing to boost my mood after a bad evening, thank you lots!

Your guys' Haikyuu reactions are the best part of my Sundays; I look forward to them all week! :) Also, loved that you said near the end, "I'm growing to love volleyball." I think that's another one of the great things about this anime. You can go into it knowing practically nothing about the sport, and soon after want to pick up the sport for yourself. I think it's just seeing the character's enthusiasm and love for the sport and wanting to be a part of that enthusiasm too. Great reaction guys!
