EARLY ACCESS MHA Season 2 Episode 25 Reaction

Sometimes there are just some shows I wish you guys hadn't seen yet, like Madoka and Re:Zero, so you could react to them. At the same time though it shows good taste so it kinda cancels out, lol. If there are any more works by Urobuchi (Psycho Pass, Madoka, etc.) you two haven't seen yet I'd definitely recommend having one of those as a poll option.

I (Jacob) loved it. Caleb enjoyed the earlier parts, but didn't like the ending.

By the way, I think the super regeneration Quirk they talked about might be the one they gave the first Noumu. In other words, one they already lost. They brought it up in context of AFO's body being messed up, and the doctor says "If only we've found super regeneration 5 years earlier. After your would was sealed it was just a useless Quirk." The Japanese word they used for "useless" here means "didn't meet expectation" to be exact. So the implication here is that they wanted a Quirk like that for a specific reason, but they found it 5 years too late to use it as they wished. Given how the fight between All Might and AFO was 6 years ago at this point, they probably wished the super regeneration would heal AFO from the big injuries but found that it only works on open wounds. I can imagine them being "Welp that's unfortunate. Now what would be the best way to make use of this now? Oh right, let's make a bio-engineered sandbag to fight All Might!"

I think Toga wants to keep a low profile since she's managed to avoid having her face revealed in media up until now. Joining UA would completely go against that. On another note, will you guys be reacting to the two OVAs, or the movie of MHA coming out in summer 2018?

I doubt they're going to have Toga (the vampire girl) infiltrate the school since it was said in this episode that she's wanted by the police. They could though... but I doubt it.

There is a really cool theory about Dabi AKA stitches guy, which i personally adhere to, Season 3 will cover the majority of points that feature him but for now there 2 hints, 1. Kirishima's hair is dyed red and styled, 2. The first hints of his quirk are seen when he, Shigaraki and Toga fight, specifically the when Kurogiri Portals everyone

Here's one thing that you might have missed on first viewing. When Shiguraki is talking about the fact that All Might acts like he can save everyone, he is talking with snide derision. During that same moment we see a very small flashback of a child Shiguraki standing with bloody hand in front of him that looks as if it had been blown off in an explosion. We also know that Shigaruaki is very particular about his hand that covers his face having gotten angry at Stain when he was going to cut into it and going to pieces when All Might removed it. He also apologized to his father in that same scene.....my theory is that something happened to Shiguraki and his family, an accident of some kind, and his family was killed but he survived. All Might was somehow involved but he was unable to save them, which planted the seeds that All for One cultivated into this immense hatred of heroes and All Might in particular. I think, while all the other hands on Shiguraki's costume are meaningless to him, the one on his face is that of his father, and because of this, he can't stand to be parted from it for long.

I was just about to mention this. There are a lot of clues in the series about how things went down. I am strictly anime-only, so this is only my theory, but it seems to make the most sense. We know from episode one that UA only took in people with quirks until they revoked that rule pretty recently. So when All Might went to UA, they probably only took in people with quirks. All Might said he was quirkless, so therefore he got One for All before he entered high school, similar to how Deku did. From what Gran Torino has told us, he took on All Might as his student, became a teacher at UA and everything, as a favor to Shimura, the previous OfA holder. Shimura was killed by All for One. We know that. We have to guess that Shimura faced All for One after she had passed on OfA to a junior high age All Might, and was killed before she could train him. Because of this, Gran Torino stepped in and did it.

In Japan the school year starts in spring. Remember the first Quirk evaluation test on their first day of school? After Aizawa tells the kids that he lied and no one's getting expelled, All Might confronts him and says "April Fools was last week you know". And the reason Gran Torino was training All Might was because the predecessor was already dead at that point. Gran Torino said something to the effect of "I couldn't take Toshinori's training lightly because it was entrusted to me by my late friend". Seeing how Toshinori was in UA PE clothes during that flashback, the 7th died sometime before or during Toshinori's time at UA.
