EARLY ACCESS HunterxHunter Episode 37 Reaction

https://www.facebook.com/jacob.sosbros

The video is friends only, so make sure to send a friend request and a message with your patreon username if you haven't already. Again, this is a temporary solution. Once Caleb is back we'll shift to a permanent solution for HunterxHunter. Thanks for understanding :)

I have never liked Ging, and as the series goes on, I began to hate him. Now, he's one of my most hated anime dads in anime. It comes a lot from my own experiences and is colored from my own feelings. I can understand why the series had him that way and he works for the story, but that doesn't me I have to like him.

nice

This is just until Caleb gets back and we can change our recording style to allow for timer-based reactions. Also I did check out dailymotion and there were some issues with it

Semblance of Sanity

Correct, ep 35 is public (not early access) so everyone can see it. If you follow the instructions I posted and send a friend request to the page, then I can get you and you'll be able to see the early access videos

Semblance of Sanity

In case you haven't already, check again. I added you (not long after this comment iirc)

Semblance of Sanity

The link takes you to the facebook page, the episode is friends only, so you need to be logged in and add me, then you'll be able to see it

Semblance of Sanity

Correct, it takes you to the facebook profile and then the episode is listed there on the page. Assuming you sent the friend request, you'll be able to see it.

I mean.. leaving your son with loving people to restore ancient ruins so that they don't disappear doesn't seem all that evil to me though. The "for the greater good" kind of thing but it might just be me thinking this.

The link doesn't take me to the video only your Facebook profile. I gave you my patreon account ID when you guys first asked for it. Why isn't it working?

PandaPanzerProductions

It's on google drive right now, but only for a while. 24 hours I think.

The post discussion was quite great, you two arguing made it as real as it gets ahaha. I'll just say that it might be insightful to think more about the concept of hunter, why it's called like that, and what makes a good hunter overall :D

VoiD Archon

I'm agreeing with Caleb on the discussion with Ging. As of this point, there's no reason why Gon needs to be in conflict with Ging.

Damiester

I adore this episode; it's so sweet. And I loved getting to see Gon and Killua act like the kids that they are and have some fun while on the island. Also, fun fact: the voice actor of Mito-San, Keiko Han, is the real life mother of Gon's voice actor, Megumi Han!

SqueakyNarwhal

I wish you guys watched the 1999 Anime too. It sheds a lot more light on the Ging/Mito + Gon relationship.

Vern

use dailymotion its better

Ryan Tambis

Guys, if you don't have a facebook just create a dummy account that you can use for now? It's not that hard and this is only temporary they say..

Zacke

SOoo I don't have a facebook anymore, left a long time ago and really don't wanna go back other options?

sean

Exactly! There are so many brilliant little touches in this episode that last throughout the series and they're really great to see. It just shows how much Killua enjoys seeing Gon happy, which is a HUGE driving point for his character arc in the future of the show.

AliceYouWereHere

Wait I watched this reaction yesterday

Djibril Ramsey

YouTube is such a pain in the ass

Kenju Storm

I think this episode does a really good job of showing how different Gon and killua's childhoods were, but also making it super believable that these two would come together and be great friends. I absolutely love the scene at the kitchen table, where killua doesn't know what offering thanks means, and also how the camera zooms in on his smiling face as mito and Gon bicker. The scene where they talk about their goals is also great. This episode really helps develop Gon and killua as individual characters, and develop their friendship. Also, your discussion on Ging was great!!
