Sadly Kiyoko doesnt get shone till way later, past the anime, maybe Season 4 when it comes out. You still love her though. Yes, tertiary characters do become faves.

Fave character hasn't been introduced yet sadly. Haikyuu is a show where you love every single character...unless you read the manga then you might find a few...like the snake or the evil twins...I like them but I want them to go away.

Haikyuu is a show where you don't pick favorites — simply because you can't :") (ofc people do choose favorites anyway, but all characters are so /unbelievably/ lovable it's just incredible for any show). And it doesn't even matter whether it's the protagonists or the "antagonists" (rivals). Haikyuu is the title with the biggest amount of fanfiction written on AO3 among all anime&manga, so I think that says something about just how diverse and fleshed out the characters are. Watching Haikyuu is like adopting 50 children I swear

Guys, some clarification on the interhigh (free of spoilers, I promise). Japan is divided in prefectures, only 1 team from each prefecture gets to participate in the nationals (I think some prefectures can send 2 teams, not sure). Because of this, they play "preliminaries" in each prefecture. Karasuno is about to play the Miyagi Prefecture preliminaries. Aobajousai, Datekou and Shiratorizawa are all teams from Miyagi. So preliminaries are totally official matches.

Picking a favorite Haikyuu character is like picking a favorite child; it's near impossible. If I had to pick though it's probably a tie between Suga and Kageyama. I love those two so much :) Your Haikyuu reactions always make my week, keep up the great work guys!

The awesomeness of Haikyuu cannot be measured. It's beyond our minds to comprehend, some next level "Plus ULTRA" stuff. My favorite at this point in time was between Hinata, Kageyama and Noya but later becomes Noya or Tsukki, and then wavers between Ukai and some characters you haven't seen yet. Gah! This show is too much. Great discussion again guys! You're awesome!
