when I saw how much distinction you two put on the 'I hope' part of i hope to make you my bride from last episode (and when I heard that echoed again in this ep) i was like oh dear because I thought Crunchyroll was being quite generous with their translation there: that grammar structure is very clearly 'I also intend on making you my bride' or 'I also plan on making you my bride', so... come on Ainsworth ya creep

I think the fact that you guys have so many this early in the show really says a lot about the level of world-building that is presented. Like you guys mentioned, I feel like it is done extremely well in this anime. Can't wait to see the reaction to next episode! Yay for dragons!! :D

Also, you guys at the start comparing it to Beauty and the Beast and talking about how its awkward because X, Y, Z, and I'm like, "No, it's awkward because he's talking about marrying someone he has known for like ONE DAY." and also, "He is talking about marrying someone he bought through HUMAN TRAFFICKING." It's not the differences between a different story that make the situation weird. It's that he's talking about marrying a 15-year old slave he just met. Also, this is not 1800s. It's modern day. EDIT: What I meant was what made it weird for me, from my perspective, not that what you two were saying was incorrect.
