Quick question about the format, guys. Do you check what is played before the opening song? I'm only concerned because iirc there are a few episodes that have a cold opening, with some new information/scenes, and not just a recap of the last episode.

I agree. It just helps them to understand the amount. I do this all the time when I have to go through several types of currency that have a huge changes in numbers. I mean 5 and 500 are numbers that are way away from each other. But you if you know that $5 is about the same as 500 yen, then you get a better idea of how much the money is worth, especially the ones that seem astronomically bigger than your own. Like comparing Korean won and USD or the Euro. It's normal to spend thousands of Won everyday, but not thousands of Euro or USD.

Maybe, but giving it a real world comparison is good for context. With currency, I think that these sorts of conversions are necessary to fully understand the amounts we're dealing with. You could say the euro is its own currency and 1euro is 1euro, but you'd convert that into whatever currency you're familiar with to get a better grasp of what that amount MEANS whether that currency be dollars or gil or what have you. Besides, it's not unreasonable to compare jenny to yen as the amounts seem to operate on a roughly equal scale (Killua buys a drink for 150 jenny which is about what the average bottle drink costs in japanese yen).

Guys. Jenny is its own currency. It's not equivalent to yen or dollars. 8.9 billion jenny is the amount it says it is. :( Don't want to keep posting corrections all the time, but this is one that's been mentioned repeatedly. Thank you for doing timer, but if you could please just start from the beginning of the episode, that would be best for synching up.

Don't worry, the timer is right. So long as you have a version of the episode that isn't edited or anything, then it should work fine. If it helps, we start the episode right after the opening (which the timer indicates.)

Can someone mention this in the discord or get them to notice this message? PLEASE CAN YOU PUT SOME SUBS ON SO WE CAN SYNC PROPERLY. Maybe put a little sub in the beginning in time with the video and we can sync up with that. I really want to watch this but getting the sync right is a nightmare as I can’t hear the audio properly and the timer doesn’t seem right for the video I am watching it on and I feel so so down trodden and disappointed, kinda feels like I might cry actually as this episode I was really really looking forward to your reactions.
