I love the Zoldycks too. ;D That doesn't make me love the next episode any less. Of all the arcs in the series, the York New City arc is my favorite. Of the main 4, Killua is my fav, followed by Kurapika, then Gon, then Leorio. Weirdly, its the same for Togashi's previous main 4, my favorites are the same character types in the same order: Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke, then Kuwabara. :p

Behind his cold demeanor, you can see that Kurapika can get really angry in a second, and he is indeed high strung when it comes to the issues regarding his clan. This gives way to him being a conjurer. But...have you begun to notice that Kurapika likes to be on his own and doesn't really work in a group? He's the most independent of our 4 mains. And yet, despite that, he can often get people to listen to him and he has many of charismatic parts that make him a leader. Rather interesting, wouldn't you say? ; )

Actually it was mentioned in an earlier episode that to join you have to have a pre-approved fight. This isn't pre-approved by the Phantom Troupe, so I don't think they'll have Kurapika replace Uvogin even if he should die.

Hisoka and Kurapika already have the other's number. That's how they arranged the meeting. Hisoka called him last episode. XD

I was talking about the manga, its chapter 80 if you want to look it up, I feel quite sad that they don't give leorio his badass moments like this or in the zoldik ark where he opened the second testing gate by himself. He is not weak but he is no genius like gon or killua.

In the original the armwrestling recruiting scene was played out differently, the big guy challenged gon but it didn't work out since they have such different arm size, so leorio stepped in offered 5 million in cash and the diamond and broke the guys arm in one fell swoop. They then got a card to the location, there was no arm wrestling competition, there was just the bounty hunt there.

If you think about it, thats kinda how the phantom troupe are treating Hisoka, theres a lot of distrust and dislike, it could not just be because basically Hisoka's personality but the fact that he "defeated" the member before him.

get this uvogin knows what we know about the chains so any reveals about kurapika will have uvogins reactions synced with the audiences.
