When I found your channel, I had watched only a few of the series that you have reacted to. I wasn't new to anime, just I seem to somehow avoided this stuff like you guys have. So after looking at this poll and finding I hadn't seen any of these shows (Though I wish Gamers! where on here) I made it a mission to check them out. In the past 24 hours I watched both Land of the Lustrous and Saga of Tanya the Evil (Chosen based on interest, I hadn't checked the votes till after) and I can honestly say that I loved both a ton. That being said, while I thought Land of the Lustrous was great, Saga of Tanya the Evil shot to one of my favorite anime of all time. This is due to it being the kind of anime I enjoy but of course I won't say anything because spoilers. Anyway, I voted for it because I was certain that it would be my favorite on this list, that's how much I loved it. (So glad it's winning)

I think what gives it an edge is that Jacob has already seen anohana. I love anohana but I'd rather watch a reaction that neither have seen so my vote went to Lustrous

Man, I really hope Youjo Senki wins. It has its flaws, but it's still one of my favourite recent animes.

They are not "no-name", its just that a majority of them are very recent. I take it your not a seasonal anime follower? Practically all the shows listed here have come out in Japan in the last few years, some of them just started this season and others are from a few seasons past. They aren't the big shonens or one of the legendary series or anything, but believe me, there are thousands of anime fans who know their names because we follow the newly release anime of every season are at least are involved regularly with that world.

I've only seen Blend-S and Sakamoto from this list. Both great shows but not the type that'll leave you discussing and theorizing as both are comedic gems (as someone pointed out). I hear Tanya is really cool and I looked into Violet Evergarden and it appears pretty interesting though it seems a bit mixed in opinion. I've read the synopsis but not sure of the type of anime it is... Like, tragic, drama, slice of life style... Is it like Chaika CP or Hanasaku Iroha? Sorry this is long lol. Just don't know what else to vote for besides the comedies I have seen.

I can vouch for Ping Pong suiting them, especially for Caleb who's quite serious about frisbee. Unlike Haikyuu it's a much more psychological and serious take on sports competition, though for the most part it's not even sports-related.

Land of the Lustrous outranks Anohana? Not sure how I feel about that tbh. Anohana deserves more love imo, but Land of the Lustrous is newer and a decent watch so it makes sense I guess.

Never watched any of these, just have some opinions from my friends and thus - my prejudices. It seems that there's no way of winning for what i wanted to win, but i guess Youjo Senki can't be too bad with all this hype it had, right? Even though, i have this feeling that not even one of these options is the kind of anime i'd think it would "suit" Caleb and Jacob. Let's give it a shot though! Prejudices are often wrong ^^

I've seen quite some anime back in the days but these are all new to me. Ping pong the animation should be a sports anime so there goes my vote as you guys love Hypekyuu. Must say that the anime list is wearing thin. Why not react to tv series instead? I'm sure there're good tv series you haven't seen yet that at the very least are a lot more popular by general public (more youtube likes/subs/more patreon supporters) than the relative "no-name" (sorry for ignorance) anime from this list.

Yeah, I agree with Djibril. There is absolutely no gratuitous violence in Parasyte. I don't even think it gets to Attack on Titan level of gore, and especially not episode 10 level of Made in Abyss. I actually wouldn't consider it gory. I hope you'll consider it in the future, because it's a fantastic story! It's also made by Madhouse, so the animation is definitely top-notch.

As always I'll suggest Shinsekai Yori for future polls. You guys really need to watch that one!! I think it's also one of the most requested (after Parasyte). Tsuki ga Kirei is a very good romance anime. I'm sure it wont win the poll but I recommend it to whoever reads this comment :)

Your right! I put Parasyte off because i thought it would just scare and freak me out. But the violence isn't needless violence. There's a lot more to the story and charecters than meets the eye, and i can tell you it's the first piece of Media to ever make me cry. Trust me it's a must!

Violet Evergarden would be really cool because it's still new. I like the idea of you guys being caught up on a series with all of us, so we can all theory craft with you guys. Maybe in the future you guys can see a release date for an anime and watching it weekly with everyone!

While I did love Sakamoto, I feel like a comedy show wouldn't provide too much discussion or predictions due to the episodic and comedic nature of the show, and IMO your talks after an episode are one of my favorite parts
