Half of the Phantom Troupes going home does not count as "losing half the limbs" as they confirmed it implies death. I also believe if Paku hadn't sacrifice herself and given them her memories they would've most likely had a big dispute among themselves (with some death casualties) and chased after Kurapika with more casualties, ultimately resulting in half of them dead.

also, watching you guys react to and discuss the yorknew city arc the past 2 months has been so fun. i loved your theories and your discussion of the phantom troupe. it's my fave arc of the show and im so glad you liked it so much! the rest of the show is fun too, so im anticipating all your future reactions.

I'm glad you liked this episode! tbh, the first time i watched this i was disappointed. i was thinking there was going to be huge fights and i thought that the episode went by too fast. so i think it wouldve been totally fair for you to not like this episode. however, i like this episode a lot more now, and i really appreciate the anti-climax and the emotional scenes. i think it's a great ending for this arc (although i still think this episode was too fast paced but thats only a minor gripe). great review as always, and im looking forward to your reaction to the greed island arc!!!

The chills... The sentence is so powerful here and with this ending theme, the attention provided to these last two shots of Killua and Gon's faces. Perfect.

This arc was and will always remain great but the next arc is MY personal favorite. I like the one after that a lot too though.
