2018-05-11 22:57:16 +0000 UTCSilky is so precious, and Spriggan is so kind to other faeries. So, I'm not sure the phoenix thing is really something that comes from Chise herself. You get a bit more context in the manga. She had intended to use the same spell that Elias uses to teleport to get home, but because she used the fire sprites for it, they decided that it would be fun to make her fly instead. Now it's possible that they were reading into something they sensed within Chise herself, but that's not how it read to me personally.

Spriggan helped change Silky from a banshee into a brownie, so she is magically attached to a building rather than people (hence why she could change the house's features).In some folklore a banshee's voice can actually cause death which may be the reason Silky doesn't speak.
